New Patient FAQs
How long will my first appointment take?
Plan on 60 to 75 minutes. That gives us time to take X-rays (if needed), do a full exam, and actually talk with you like a human—no rush, no pressure.
What should I bring with me?
-
Your photo ID
-
Insurance card (if you have one)
-
If using insurance, complete your new patient forms at least a few days before your appointment so that we can verify your benefits.
-
Bonus: A good attitude (but we’ll supply that too, if needed)
Do you accept my insurance?
We are in negotiations with some insurances but currently we have not reached an agreement that allows us to treat you the way we would like to be treated. So, we haven’t signed contracts with any insurance companies yet, but we’ll gladly help file claims for you. You still get to choose your dentist—and we think you’ll like your choice.
Can I bring my child?
Absolutely—we provide dental care for kids and love working with families. If your child has an appointment, we’re ready to make it a great experience. If you’re the one being seen, though, keep in mind we’re not a daycare. It can be tough to give you the attention you deserve while also keeping a little one entertained in the room. If possible, it’s best to bring someone along to help or arrange care during your visit.
